Built from real experience with a passion for dogs and community-building
SolWag was founded by Lisa Ward through hands on experience with dogs alongside a background in digital marketing and online platforms. The idea came from recognising how fragmented dog ownership can feel, with useful information often scattered across different apps, difficult to follow social conversations and inconsistent recommendations.
The vision behind SolWag was to create something more connected, intelligent and genuinely useful for modern dog owners. A platform where discovering dog-friendly places, understanding your dog's behaviour and training needs, and finding social opportunities could exist in one place. Central to the experience is your dog's evolving profile, becoming more personalised and valuable over time.
More broadly, SolWag is being built around the belief that dog ownership should feel more connected, more informed and less isolated, helping create better experiences and stronger real world connections for both dogs and the people around them.
